Construction of Passiv España, the NidoZero self-build development in Albacete, is fully completed. Only one step remains — one of those you cannot see: the Passivhaus Classic certification, which is already underway.
The key milestone of this final phase was the Blower Door airtightness test, passed with a satisfactory result. The envelope performs exactly as designed, guaranteeing the comfort and energy efficiency of the home all year round.
It is the outcome of a construction process where every decision has a clear purpose: light timber framing, ETICS where required and Termoklinker brick by Cerámicas La Paloma. A façade that speaks for itself.
With this project we continue to strengthen our commitment to the Passivhaus standard in Castilla-La Mancha: near-zero-energy architecture — measurable and certified — from the first survey to key handover.
