The pools are the heart of the centre: a lane-marked sports pool for swimming and classes, and a warm-water area with hydromassage. They are the most demanding spaces in the building — constant humidity, stable temperature, long opening hours — and the ones that shape the building services the most.
Saunas and rest areas complete the water experience. The register shifts from that of the training rooms: low light, warm tones and timber mark the move to a slower kind of use, with the cabins resolved as glazed volumes that reveal the interior.
Cardio, weights and functional training are spread across floors linked by a stair core that organises the route through the building. The brand colour works as wayfinding: it guides movement between zones and gives each room its own character without further additions.
A building that opens long hours and keeps heated pools running has a high, sustained energy demand. Lighting and building services were planned to contain that consumption without giving up comfort — something you notice immediately in a sports centre.
